Thank you for entrusting Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC with your home cleaning needs. To ensure the safety of our employees and to establish clear expectations with our clients, we have developed guidelines that we ask you to observe to answer any possible questions and to learn how you can prepare for our arrival. We believe that following these guidelines will allow us to provide the highest quality cleaning services and continue to make your home sparkle for years to come. We kindly ask that you carefully review it and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

1. Services Provided

We offer a range of cleaning services, including but not limited to residential, Commercial, Construction cleaning, and more. Rates for recurring services will vary on factors including but not limited to recurrence, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, square footage, add-ons, etc.

2. Re cheduling and Cancellations

Clients must provide a 48-hour notice for rescheduling, adding, skipping, or canceling service. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in a 25% charge of the cleaning fee, while same-day cancellations will be charged half the service rate. Please make all cancellations in writing through our office.

          I. You can schedule a cleaning up to 24 hours in advance. 

3. Payment Terms

We only accept online payments. For the first service in a house, the payment is required in full. For recurring cleanings, we only require a 50% deposit, this applies only after the first introductory deep cleaning. This deposit amount will be directed to the total amount of the cleaning. You can pay in advance. Balance is due on receipt. The cleaning technicians do not handle payments. Late payment fees may apply.           I. Price Increases:

                    A. Clients will receive advance notice of any price changes. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to raise prices at any time.

                              1. Initial Cleaning Estimate:

                                        If the condition of the home is not as expected, or not as how the client described it, the initial cleaning rate might change. You will be notified in advance before starting or continuing with the project. If this situation happens upon arrival and the client does not accept the new price, we will refund you 100% of the amount paid by the client. If this situation happens after starting the service, and the client does not accept the new rate, Flamingo Cleaning Services reserves the right to conclude the services, and depending on how far in advance the service is, we will issue a percentage of the payment/deposit as a refund. Please note that Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC will never charge your card for any extra charges without your consent. Flamingo Cleaning Services reserves the right to save your card information for future payments.

                              B. Regular Services:

                              1. At Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC, we offer a range of cleaning services for the clients to choose from. All of the residential services are started with an Introductory Deep Cleaning, no matter how long ago the house was cleaned, or if it was cleaned by another company. This is because all of the cleaning companies have different standards and scope of work. Therefore, after the Introductory deep cleaning, there’s a new cleaning standard that needs to be maintained by our cleaning technicians. If the client decides to go for a recurring service and the client decides to break the cycle for more than 2 months, the cycle will start all over again, starting with the introductory deep cleaning, and this is because in those two months, the cleaning standards were not maintained.

 4. Access to the home

          I. Arrival: Due to our dynamic schedule and the fact that cleaning times vary, it is difficult to commit to an exact arrival time. Our service hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and we aim to arrive at your home within a window of the estimated time provided.

          II. Entry method

We offer three entry options:

      1. The client may choose to be present at home to grant access to our cleaners on the day of the service. The client should ensure that the home is prepared for cleaning. If the cleaner is turned away or no one is home, the client will be charged half the price of the day’s service.
      2. The client can choose to leave a key under the mat or a designated area in the property territory. If the client placed the key in a hard-to-reach area, dangerous to get to, or a non-accessible area, the technicians will attempt to contact the client for him/her to provide a solution. If the client doesn’t provide any solution, this is considered the cleaners being turned away and the client will be charged half the price of the day’s service. Flamingo Cleaning Services is/will not be held liable for the loss of the key since it’s not under our technician’s, or our company responsibility, or if it's stolen. The client is fully responsible for ensuring that the key is where the client stated that he/she placed the key, as well as if it's taken, or stolen, by a third party not related to Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC.
      3. The client can provide a garage door opener or code to gain entry. If the code provided is incorrect, resulting in a lockout, and the cleaner cannot gain access, the client will be charged a cancellation fee of half the price of the day’s service.

                                   a) Home access code: When the client shares the code for the home access, Flamingo Cleaning Services will never share it with a 3rd party without the client’s consent. Therefore, Flamingo Cleaning Services will not be liable for the legal accusation of sharing the code with a 3rd party.
                                   b) Home Alarm Systems: Please advise Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC of any passwords needed to enter the home to avoid any false alarms. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC will not be responsible for any false alarm charges resulting from code changes that are not communicated before service.

 5. Liability, Damage, and Safety

                I. Damage:

                   A. Surface damages: Surfaces such as hardwood floors and natural stone should be in good condition and ready to clean without causing harm to the surfaces when using a neutral pH cleaner. The client must point out in writing any damage to surfaces, floors, walls, or objects, during the first walk-through and-or before the service begins. If there’s no initial walkthrough, it's the client's responsibility to let Flamingo Cleaning Services be aware through writing of any damage to the property. If nothing is advised, Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC is not/will not be held responsible for any damages that the home had before the technician's arrival. If the client wants the Flamingo Cleaning Services cleaning technicians to use the client's cleaning products and tools, this responsibility falls on the client, where the client must notify Flamingo Cleaning Services in writing. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC is sometimes called in to correct the damage that was already there or that another cleaning company was responsible for. In this case, we may require that the client sign off on a pre-existing surface damage waiver.

        1. It is under the client’s responsibility to advise in writing if there’s any surfaces, floors, walls, objects,  that need special care, attention and/or cannot be treated with our standard cleaning supplies, tools, and techniques. If the client does not advise Flamingo Cleaning Services through writing about if there are any surfaces, floors, walls, or objects,  that need special care, or attention and/or cannot be treated with our standard cleaning supplies, tools, and techniques, Flamingo Cleaning Services is not/will not be held responsible for any damages or repairs. 

                  B. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC is 100% insured, and if accidentally, the cleaning technicians damage any surface, wall, item, appliance, or others, the client will be notified and the process of filing an insurance case will begin. This condition doesn’t apply to the lack of written communication explaining  if there’s any surfaces, floors, walls, objects, that need special care, attention and/or cannot be treated with our standard cleaning supplies, tools, and techniques on the client's side. As explained in the previous point, advising about these conditions is on the client’s side.
                   C. Extreme clutter: In areas of the home with extreme clutter, Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to skip those areas in order to avoid damaging items or injuring the cleaning techs. 

                   II. Breakage:

                           A. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC cannot be held responsible for damage caused by unstable items such as pictures not hung securely, items with unstable bases, floating shelves, or improperly secured items. The client is responsible for cleaning and safely storing curio cabinets, figurines, glassware, and items of extreme or sentimental value. The client is responsible for advising Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC in writing if there is any item that cannot be touched. If a technician accidently breaks an item, Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC will pay up to $100 per item or the replacement cost with verified value. The client must save the broken item for proof.

                           B. We recommend that you securely store any valuable items, including jewelry, cash, important documents, or sentimental belongings, in a designated and locked area during our cleaning sessions. If you have any concerns about specific items, please communicate with our office beforehand so that we can address your requests appropriately. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC is not/will not be held liable for any loss or damage to items that are not properly secured/ or advised about during our cleaning sessions.

        1. Any special cleaning instructions or requirements should be communicated in writing before the service begins. We will do our best to accommodate them, but additional charges may apply.

                III. Biohazards:

                           A. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC values the health and safety of our employees, and it is important that we are informed of any potential biohazard situations. These may include mold, rodent or bug infestations, or human or pet waste. If a biohazard situation is detected, our cleaning technicians will be unable to provide service, and you will be charged the full rate of cleaning. Follow-up service cannot be performed until documentation is presented in writing showing that the situation has been resolved.

                IV. Safety:

                           A. Our top priority is the safety of our clients and cleaning technicians. To maintain safety standards, Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC is insured and is unable to perform any cleaning from anything higher than a three-step ladder. Our cleaning technicians will not move furniture, appliances, or other heavy objects. Heavy or large furniture must be moved away from the walls to clean behind them, to prevent damage and ensure safety.

      1. 3rd parties:

                                   a) While we make every effort to ensure their safety, we cannot assume liability for the safety of others, including adults, children, and pets. Should the cleaning technicians be unable to work without distractions that affect their normal speed, Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to skip a part of the home for the extra time spent in the client's home. If the client does not keep the animals in a safe place, supervise the children, or even other adults, and for this reason the animals/children/adults soil an area that has already been cleaned, the technicians will not clean the same area a second time. Flamingo Cleaning technicians are not responsible for supervising children, pets, or third parties.

                                                   (1) Pets: Pets must be placed in a secure area of the home during cleaning for their safety and the safety of our cleaning technicians. The cleaning technicians will not be in charge of supervising pets at any time and will not be responsible for their actions either. If the client does not keep the animals in a safe place, and for this reason, the animals soil an area that has already been cleaned, the technicians will not clean the same area a second time. Our cleaners cannot clean animal feces to avoid cross-contamination.

                           B. To ensure optimal efficiency and safety, our cleaning technicians need to work without distractions. If a cleaning technician feels their safety is in danger due to actions by the client, the client's guests, or animals, the service will be terminated and the client will be liable for the full cost of the service. If you smoke in your home, we kindly request that you refrain from smoking around the cleaning technicians due to smoke allergies.

 6. Quality Assurance

          We strive for the highest standards of cleanliness and We want all of our clients to be absolutely delighted with the cleaning service. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours in writing, and we will make arrangements for a re-clean or discuss appropriate remedies. 

          I. Furthermore, the following appointments or items are not covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee:

                   1. Services or items not included in our scope of work. Please read the next section (II. Exclusions) for more information.

                   2. Any complimentary cleaning services

                   3. Areas not in standard condition (such as biohazards or hoarding situations)

NOTE: You are welcome to request touch-ups for any missed areas as often as needed throughout your time with Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC. However, we may require additional payment for future cleanings and/or invalidate the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee if we are repeatedly asked to address minor issues. Please note that if you request a touch-up and want to add extra services not included in your original or standard cleaning, these additional services will not be covered by the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and will incur extra charges.

          II. Exclusions:

                   B. The following are some of the exclusions from our services.

                           1. Biohazards. (Please review the “Biohazards” section in the Terms & Conditions.)

                           2. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC technicians do not move furniture, appliances, or other heavy items. To clean behind large or heavy furniture, the client must move it away from the walls to avoid damage and ensure safety.

                           3. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC does not wash dishes.

                           4. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC does not wipe TVs, TV’s mounts, any type of device or screen device.

                           5. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC does not hand-wipe ceiling fans because of the risk our cleaning technicians encounter.

                           6. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC does not clean bathing aids for senior nor babies.

                           7. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC does not clean ceilings.

                           8. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to only take the trash out if the client’s house is a single family home, or if the apartment has valet trash pick-up. These two previous conditions only apply if the trash cans have available space to fit the trash bags. 

                                   a) Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC does not remove trash from houses in a substantial amount. Technicians will only remove the usual type of trash, which is trash stored inside the trash can of the bathrooms and kitchen. Technicians will not remove recycling or bigger amounts of trash.

                           9. If the client chooses to have the sheets changed for a bed or multiple beds, Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to only do so if the client provides clean sheets.

7. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Any information shared with us will be used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent. Please review item “4. Access” of our Terms & Conditions for more information.

                   A. Documentation: Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to take pictures of the before and after of the work. These pictures may be shared on Thumbtack, Yelp, or the website just as proof of our work. Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC will never display the personal information of the clients associated with the pictures.

8. Modifications to Terms

Flamingo Cleaning Services LLC retains the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
